Google Analytics

  • In a jekyll site (including this one!). See instructions here.
    • There’s one more step needed for this to work though - you need to make sure you’re setting the Jekyll environment to production. See this article for how to do that with Travis.
      • I couldn’t get this to work. The change I made to .travis.yml in commit f440af1 didn’t result in the GA code getting added to the deployed site. I had to take out the insistence on the prod envt (See commit f9b1bd5). That got it working again.

  • Elsewhere: Google Analytics are used by Cadogan. I don’t think my notes are worth copying over here, but they’re all available (to Clare only) in the following file.
